PREFACE
The Holy Bible is the word of God. When God speaks, man should listen as God
declares His holy secrets to us along with His intentions for creation and
history and His dealings with His children who obey His commandments.
Through the words of God, we learn about His loving person and we live His
honest and truthful promises. His precions advice
leads us to salvation so we love to live by it. Man cannot live without the
word of God as our Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 6:63 that “It is the
Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you
are spirit and they are life”. In other words, lie who lives without the Holy
Bible is missing the Spirit and the Life.
Our Lord taught us that the word of God is food for the soul. “.,.Man shall not live by every word that proceeds from the
mouth of God” (Mat 4:4). The Holy Bile — the word of God — is light for the
path in the wilderness and deceit of (lie world that we live in. “Your word is
a lamp to my feet And a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
The Holy Bible — the word of God — is the sharp cutting sward with which we
become righteous. With the word of God, we distance ourselves from every
teaching that is not suitable for building of our spirit and from every
deceitful thought that does not please the righteousness of God or builds the
spirit of man or the body of Christ that is the church “For the word of God is
living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the
division of soul and spirit, and to joints and marrow, and is a discerner of
the thoughts and intents of the heart. “(Hebrews 4:12).
The Holy Bible — the word of God — is purity and cleanliness for those who read
it, study it and make it important in their life. “You are already clean
because of the word which I have spoken to you”(John
15:3).
In this study of the Completion of the Book of Daniel, our beloved brother
deacon Ehab Waheeli has
shed sonic light on an important part of the Holy Bible. In writing this book,
lie spent the effort of an honest researcher and coupled iuteresting
historical events with spiritual contemplation and a study that takes us
through the tracts of knowledge as he guides us through this part of the Second
Canonical Books.
